(NEAD) chain
A NEAD™ chain, short for Never Ending Altruistic Donor chain, is initiated by a single altruistic, non-directed donor. This individual donates to a transplant candidate, and subsequently, a compatible but mismatched donor connected to the recipient donates to another candidate in need. This process continues, creating a sequence where each living donor contributes to an unknown recipient, extending the donor chain for as long as feasible.
